HOW TO PARTITION YOUR SDCARD VIA MINITOOL

Just a short tutorial on how to partition your sdcard using minitool partition.

I tested before using TWRP from advance feature on sdcard partition but after selecting EXT3 or EXT4 it can not be detected by Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5s and just show as 0 or emtpy or blank external storage.

Here's another trick to make your sdcard as your default location when installing those downloaded apps for your asus zenfone 2 laser 5.5s Asus_Z00LD device via adb so you can spare the ram of your phone.

First things first you need to have root access (tutorial here) and if you wish to unlock your bootloader so you can create a stockrom back up for your device proceed here.

Hi once again let me show you a simple tutorial on how to flash TWRP on your asus zenfone 2 laser 5.5s Asus_Z00LD device via adb so you can make a stock rom backup to your device.

First things first you need to have root access (tutorial here) and must have an unlocked bootloader (tutorial here).

After testing out on Marshmallow upgrade erasing my root acces but still with an unlocked bootloader, I take back what I said above that it must need root since I managed to flashed the custom recovery.img (TWRP) via adb without any issues with the same steps provided here in this tutorial.

Here is another tutorial for unlocking your bootloader in Asus Zenfone 2 laser 5.5s ZE550KL asus_Z00LD device for you to be able to flash TWRP and make a stock rom backup to your device to restore it later if you will encounter any issues like boot loop or stuck at Asus logo later on.

For this device you need to have root access to unlock its bootloader.

HOW TO REPLACE KINGROOT WITH SUPERSU IN ASUS ZENFONE 2 LASER 5.5s

After using Kingroot app to root your device let me show you how to replace it with SuperSu as some say that it is more stable when granting apps that you installed unlike Kingroot(Kinguser).

Others don't trust this app as some say its a malware that would steal your info, so others prefer to remove it and replace it with SuperSu instead. 

I remember also the vRoot app before which install its own superuser when rooting spreadtrum devices.

HOW TO ROOT ASUS ZENFONE 2 LASER 5.5s (ZE550KL)-Asus Z00LD 5.0.2 LOLLIPOP

Let me show you how to root your Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5s (ZE550KL) Lollipop version with just the use of one simple tool which I have tested myself.

If your device is with the marshmallow  firmware, please downgrade first to a lower version such as lollipop since the app won't be able to root your device.

Try to check from time to time if the developer of this app have included marshmallow devices already.

SPREADTRUM DRIVERS TESTED IN WINDOWS 7

Here's the spreadtrum driver tested on windows 7 that you may use for your android device to be recognized from your computer. 

For easier transfer of files using android tools like adb, android commander and for researchdownload to flash pac file to your unit if you need to revive your phone from deadboot problems, bootloop and more.

Make sure to follow steps to troubleshoot if device is not detected even after installing the driver into your computer.

Here's how you will set up the drivers.

1. Select sci-usb jungo 4

2. Choose the application DPInst.exe, make sure to select your compatible driver if 32bit use x86 and if on 64bit use x64

3. Click next

4. Just ignore and click "install this driver software anyway", this pop up will show up number of times just click install this driver software anyway to continue.

5. Wait until the installation is complete

6. Try to connect your android phone  (spreadtrum) if your computer will be able to detect your device.

7. You will notice from your device manager of the warning icon on yellow marks for your spreadtrum drivers, to fix this temporarily when using researchdownload so that you can flash your device simply open up your command prompt and run as Administrator.

8. Type the following:

bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

9. Restart your computer and check again from device manager if it removes the yellow mark warning icon beside your SPRD then try to use now researchdownload if it can detect your spreadtrum android device.

Congrats! Now you can use Researchdownload tool to flash your spreadtrum devices.
