HOW TO INSTALL XPOSED FRAMEWORK FOR YOUR ANDROID DEVICE (LOLLIPOP 5.0.2)

xposed_framework_app
Make sure to get the proper xposed zip file for your device to make this work. Let me show you again another tutorial on how to install the xposed framework tested on Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5s ZE550KL Asus Z00LD running on lollipop.

You can also follow the steps if you happen to run on lollipop or marshmallow versions, just check some notes from author if your device is compatible as he mentioned some devices having some problems using the xposed framework check link from thread below.

Using xposed framework you can do a lot of customization to your device just by going into its download section once you properly installed it into your device.

Big credits to rovo89 for his great work.

Disclaimer: I am not held responsible if you brick or destroy your device, do it at your own risk as I also did when I flashed xposed.zip via twrp to my device. Wrong xposed.zip used will cause bootloop to your device. Follow below instructions carefully.

Things needed:
1. Rooted phone
2. TWRP/CWM
3. Determine your cp architecture if arm, arm64, or x86 (a must!)
4. xposed framework apk (here)-for lollipop or marshmallow
5. xposed zip for your device here
6. xposed zip uninstaller here
7. Internet connection via wifi when updating xposed framework app.
8. Backup stock rom (in case things went wrong doing the process) to restore your device.

note: you need to know your cp architecture first before you download the necessary xposed.zip and uninstaller.zip

armv7l=arm
aarch64=arm64
x86abi=x86

You may use cpu-z app to check your system if arm, arm64, or x86 (read about the basics to determine your device architecture here)

For this tutorial device is running on lollipop 5.02v with arm64 cpu architecture so I will open the sdk21 folder download section.

Steps:
1. Download your xposed.zip file compatible to your device. Check if your android version if on 5.0+, 5.1+ and 6.0+ (arm,arm64,x86)

2. From download section is under sdk21 folder.

3. Now since its on arm64 I clicked the arm64 folder as shown. Click images to zoom out.

4. Download the corresponding xposed.zip file for arm64

5. Same goes with the uninstaller folder look for the same category if arm64 with the same date as my xposed.zip (31-Aug-2015).

6. Now you are ready to flash via TWRP/CWM (tutorial on how to install or flash via TWRP using this sample here)

7. After you're done with the xposed.zip file download and install the xposed framework app and open as it will show you that it is not installed with the red marks as shown.
