HOW TO RECOVER ACCIDENTALLY DELETED FILES FROM YOUR MOBILE DEVICE

Hi everyone, we often accidentally delete some important files from our desktops, laptops, mobiles or from our media drives like USB or flash drives, externals, and SDcards.

Good thing we can now have some programs that we can rely to retrieve them back. So far I have tested a few but are only limited to number of data that can be recovered.

I want to share to you a program that you may want to try which is Stellar Phoenix available for windows and mac. The great news about this program is they have a free version that you can recover upto 1Gb of deleted files.

How to get started:

Just download the application and run to install just like any other programs.

Here's a sample screenshot below once you successfully installed it to your computer and upgraded to Pro.

You are given options on what you wish to recover just click which one you intend to recover as shown above then click the Next button.

Select the location of the drive you wish to recover if from your drive C: or from external drives etc. then click on the Scan button.

Scanning

Simply wait as it scans the drive you selected earlier.

Then you will get a pop up window once the scan is complete as shown above.

So far it is easy to operate with its user friendly interface without any complicated steps when installing and scanning for your lost or deleted files.

Basically it can scan on NTFS, FAT, FAT16, FAT32 or ExFAT systems.

After files are retrieved, simply select the file for example a deleted image and recover to your desktop or other external drive and make sure not on the same drive where you are trying to recover from.

Just wait until files are saved to the selected location or destination you have chosen.

If you wish to resume your recovery at a later time you may do so as you are given an option to do so.

So far I compared with other recovery tool I currently have and typically they almost got the same result like from this one on a same microsd card which I tried to reformat and  where I applied the drive wiper from ccleaner.

I have the old version so it looks different from the updated versions but the new versions almost looks like Stellar Phoenix interface.

The only thing from these recovered datas I could not find any program that can open them up and view the files since it has no file type.

To add some info on the tool feature from ccleaner "drive wiper" can be applied to its free space or entire drive itself so be careful when using this feature from ccleaner as it will wipe out all your data.

Take note that Stellar Phoenix can not be run more than one instance just like other recovery tools but simply wait until it finish the first operation to complete.

I tested to copy some images and saved directly to microsd and format my micro sdcard the normal way from PC and tried if can still be recovered and here's the result when using Stellar Phoenix.

Result above shows the files on Raw Data folder where it was found after the format process.

Same microsd copied again same set of images and normally deleted the files and tested if same result will happen.

If you notice the icon comes with a small red x which denotes that the images were deleted directly and so far Stellar Phoenix manage to salvage those deleted files as shown on its image preview.

Compared to the formatted microsd earlier the deleted files is simply found at Local Disk (H:) and not placed on any folder like Raw Data.

Nonetheless, Stellar data recovery can help you retrieve those files but take note that some files that were deleted may turn up as corrupted files as I have tested to other drives like flash drives and some turned out to be unrecoverable which goes along with the other recovery tool I have.

Getting a recovery tool is a must particularly when you need to recover files that you happen to delete accidentally from your microsdcard from your mobile devices.

With the advent of "selfies" nowadays and if things went wrong from our sdcards as long as it can still be detected and readable from our computer then we may have a great chance of retrieving those memorable moments of photos from getting lost.

Here's a sample photo taken from my old Nokia mobile device  and tested to delete the file and tried to use the program to recover and yes indeed it was perfectly retrieved without any issues.

Overall, I rate Stellar Phoenix with 4stars out of 5 with its user friendly interface and easy to operate procedure when recovering files and like from other recovery tool that I have tested so far it can manage to retrieve those deleted files and formatted drives and sdcards as well.

I could have given 5stars if it was able to recover those wiped data from ccleaner drive wiper tool but so far I have not encountered one yet but for the sake of retrieving those accidentally deleted or formatted drives then Stellar Phoenix is a must.
