HOW TO CREATE A STOCK ROM BACK UP VIA TWRP

back_up_files
Here's another short tutorial on making back up stock rom using your TWRP. After rooting your device, unlocking your bootloader and flashing TWRP/CWM comes the most important part which is to make a stock rom backup.

You may wish to leave those bloatware apps when making back up as your 1st option then try to delete those bloatwares and make another backup as your 2nd option.

So whatever custom recovery you may have in your device such as TWRP/CWM then you may proceed immediately to create those backup files for recovery purposes in the future.

It would be best to always have a backup file as we can't tell that during downloads or installations of apps may corrupt our system resulting to some lags, hang, or bootloop problems.

note: This tutorial may be applicable to any android device having TWRP/CWM installed or flashed, the unit used here for tutorial purposes is Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5s ZE550KL Asus Z00LD.

Things needed:
1. Rooted phone.
2. TWRP/CWM flashed to your device.

Steps:
1. Boot into recovery (vol down+ power)-check your device which combination works if vol up+power etc.

2. Click on Wipe.

5. Select the storage to save from, either from your internal or microsd. Recommended on your microsd.
select_microsd
6. You can input your own backup name instead of the auto-generate with date, but I prefer the auto-generate so I can track the date when I made those backups.

Others only select system, data, boot as you may check all if you want to.

7. You have the option to skip those md5 as sometimes there are errors in reading md5 when restoring backups but you may opt to add it as well if you want to under options.
